Québec Diamond Projects

The Québec Diamond Project encompasses 100% owned mineral claims held by Tres-Or Resources Ltd. (TSX.V:TRS) and includes the Guigues Kimberlite Pipe located in northwestern Québec where initial drilling and testing has discovered Type II diamond content suggesting potential for commercial sized, high-quality gems.

Tres-Or’s sampling programs at Guigues have established the kimberlite carries closely comparable indicator mineral and microdiamond populations to De Beers’ Victor Diamond Mine in northern Ontario, as well as demonstrating that more than 76% of the Guigues microdiamonds lack the impurity nitrogen (Type II) like most of the largest high value diamonds ever produced around the world.

Brazil Diamond Projects

Tres-Or Resources Ltd. through its wholly owned subsidiary Vaaldiam do Brasil Mineração Ltda. (“Vaaldiam”) in Brazil holds natural diamond exploration permits for primary diamond deposits in Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso, Brazil. Vaaldiam gives Tres-Or access to a specialized team with more than 20 years experience in the exploration, evaluation, and development of natural diamond sources in Brazil, Canada and Africa.

Diamonds have been produced from river gravels in Brazil for over 170 years, and small-scale production continues to this day. Numerous kimberlite bodies have been discovered in Tres-Or’s area of interests in both Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso states, but few if any have been properly sampled to evaluate their diamond content and diamond value, to determine their economic potential.

The fact that large valuable diamonds continue to be recovered from gravel deposits that lie adjacent to some of the kimberlite bodies on Tres-Or’s exploration permits, suggests that there is potential for an economic primary diamond source kimberlite deposit.
