Tres-Or Resources LTD.

Tres-Or Resources Ltd. (TRS: TSX.V) is a Canadian resource company focused on exploring for gold and base metal resources in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt in northwestern Quebec. Over 130 million ounces of gold has been produced from this prolific gold-bearing belt which stretches through Quebec to eastern Ontario and is home to the Casa Berardi, Val d'Or, Rouyn-Noranda, Kirkland Lake, Timmins and Detour mining camps. Tres-Or is creating shareholder value through the acquisition, exploration and development of its portfolio of Abitibi gold projects.

Fontana Gold Property

Tres-Or and Aurizon Mines Ltd. ("Aurizon") signed an option agreement which includes the Tres-Or's Fontana and Duvay Gold Project, located in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt approximately 16 kilometres northeast of Amos, in Duverny Township, Quebec as detailed in the Tres-Or news release on June 19 2012). 

Terms of the June 2012 transaction with Aurizon to earn an initial 50% interest

• Cash payments totaling   $2,300,000, and

• incurring exploration expenditures totaling $10,000,000 by September 2015

• Aurizon can earn an additional 15% interest, by producing a Pre-Feasibility study or incurring an additional $20,000,000 in exploration expenditures over 3 years to earn a total of 65% interest.

• Upon formation of a JV, Aurizon will make a resource payment related to Tres-Or's percentage interest in the gold contained in the Optioned Properties (as calculated by an independent NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate) as follows: $30 for each measured ounce; $25 for each indicated ounce; and $15 for each inferred ounce.

The Option over the Fontana and Duvay Gold Projects encompasses over 6,356 hectares, including 148 claims in a promising part of the Abitibi belt.   The gold projects are located about 16 km northeast of Amos, the smallest of three primary cities – after Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or in northwestern Quebec.   The projects have year-round access by road, power and infrastructure are on site, and there is a large base of skilled mining personnel resident within the region.
